A full day on set with four talented actors, a film crew, and members of Kansas City Aviation capturing audio. After an afternoon in my production suite capturing voice over the project moved into post-production. While waiting for a locked film I started on sound design, capturing sound, and meeting with the DI production team to discuss the specifications of the simulation room.
After multiple rounds of communication over the course of a year the Air Travel Simulator Takes Shape.
Assembly of the Kansas City Air Travel Experience simulator is well underway. The Build KCI Team is focused on ensuring the New Terminal at Kansas City International Airport sets a new high bar for inclusivity and accessibility. The Kansas City Air Travel Experience is a program that will allow families hesitant to book air travel to book time to come out and simulate the experience, from checking bags to security screening to walking down a boarding bridge to stowing their carry-on luggage and buckling their seatbelts, to experience a flight. “Windows” will show a video of a plane taking off/landing/taxiing. This is believed to be the first of its kind at a U.S. airport. Click on the photos below to view larger ones.
