I have worked with Jefferson Laurent for a couple of years engineering and helping produce his full-length album “Craan” and several singles that range from jazz to electric dance music but “Planet Nine” is the first time we’ve created together in the studio. On vacation this year I created the bed to this track. Wrapping up after one of Jefferson’s session’s I played what would eventually become “Planet NIne” for Jefferson and he turned his brand new Yamaha Montage keyboard back on and we recorded his solo parts for this song. It’s a jazzy little instrumental song you can hang out at the lake with the family having few beers, which is exactly what I was doing when I created it. Let me know what you think and please share it on any or all of your social media accounts and add it to a playlist on Spotify.
